Indoor Sewn Cotton Confederate Battle Flags with Antique Finish Sizes Ranging From 12″x 18″ – 3’x5′

These are beautifully embroidered and sewn cotton rebel flags with large embroidered stars sewn with polished gold thread for a vintage, antiqued appearance. The red and blue colors are a bit darker than standard blue and red while a medium beige material is used for the areas that are white on a regular battle flag thus offering a tea-stained vintage presence. Cotton flags feature a very heavy, luxurious look and feel and are intended for indoor use, such as framing or simply hanging on a wall. Cotton flags may be used outside on a temporary basis for parades, presentations ceremonies, etc. but will fade with prolonged exposure to the outdoor elements. The rectangular battle flag was used by some Confederate infantry, artillery, and cavalry units, but was not as common as the square configuration. The rectangular flag also served as the Confederate Navy Jack.
