This United States Navy motorcycle flag is equipped with a small sleeve designed to slip over a regular motorcycle flagpole and be displayed while the vehicle is being operated at normal speed. The flag is double-sided, meaning two flags are sewn together back to back so that the lettering is readable from both sides. The fabric is a knitted polyester material that has a silky, smooth feel (similar to gym shorts) with a slight amount of elasticity which lends greater durability against the wind vs. standard printed polyester.
This official US Navy flag design was authorized by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on April 24th, 1959, and consists of the official seal of the United States Department of the Navy with a yellow scroll just below inscribed with “United States Navy”.
