United States Merchant Marine Official Seal Flag
The Merchant Marine Flag is intended to commemorate the contributions of merchant seamen to the security and prosperity of the United States of America. The flag was designed by the US Army’s Institute of Heraldry and introduced by the Maritime Administration of the Department of Transportation on May 24, 1994, where it was adopted.
Made of single-ply printed polyester which is a very lightweight material that will fly nicely in the slightest breeze. The artwork is visible on both sides of the flag while the lettering reads right on one side only.
