Thirteen-Star American Flag with 6-Pointed Stars – Fully Sewn and Embroidered 600-Denier Polyester Outdoor Material

The Second Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the first official national flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, now celebrated as Flag Day. According to the journals of the Continental Congress, Francis Hopkinson is recognized as a designer of the U.S. flag; however, several other people contributed to the design. It is believed that Hopkinson’s design featured thirteen alternating stripes, seven red and six white, as well as thirteen white six-pointed stars on the blue field in five linear rows alternating 3-2-3-2-3.

This is a reproduction of the 13-star Hopkinson flag. The dimensions and materials used are not exactly the same as those of the original flag.

2-ply polyester is the most durable option for those who fly their flag 24/7. This flag features beautifully embroidered stars and sewn stripes with rich, vibrant color. All of the artwork is visible on both sides of the flag.
