Betsy Ross III 3×5 Cotton Flag with Sewn Stripes, Embroidered Stars
This beautiful, sewn and embroidered Nyberg Betsy Ross flag is constructed of soft cotton fabric with densely embroidered stars, sewn stripes, and appliqued Roman numeral. If you are looking for that traditional or old-world look, this flag is for you. It can be flown proudly outside your home, or business, although cotton is not very durable or fade resistant with prolonged exposure to the outdoor elements. Cotton flags are best suited to hang indoors or display outdoors on special occasions or parade events. They are also perfect for framing. History and Meaning Behind the Betsy Ross Three Percenter Flag
Often referred to as the “Nyberg” or “Threeper” flag. Designed by Gayle Nyberg, the flag represents the idea that the number of men that initially took up arms and fought for our freedom from the King of England during the American Revolution was only about 3 percent of the population of the 13 Colonies. Further, throughout history, whenever a significant change occurs within a government or society, whether for good or bad, it has been brought about by a very small percent of the population. Specifically, the three percenter movement is devoted to protecting our rights to keep and bear arms here in the United States and promises to actively defend our right to do so. Although this particular flag has no historical significance, it was inspired by the Betsy Ross flag and is reminiscent of the spirit of the American Revolution.
